This multi-coloured crochet bucket hat is made from a mixture of industrial waste and shredded vintage tie dye t-shirts. Each hat is unique and made by hand in London. The colours alternate as the ball of t-shirt yarn runs out, with new colours tied on and excess yarn visible. The hat features a removable Liam Hodges B O W era label on the outside.
The B O W era is an ongoing collection with a responsibility for change, to create less waste and review our habits. We are acting towards a new model, a new normal, a sustainable future. The textiles used to construct this garment are made from recycled vintage materials. Each garment is a unique and one off piece, any visible wear is an acknowledgment to the garment’s previous life cycle.
