Mallet ‘The Angel’ new lightweight runner - draws inspiration from Islington’s Angel Central, where the iconic steel wings structure is situated, at the heart of the London borough.
The silhouette’s midsole outlines the angel wing design, whilst the outsole tread is a map of Islington itself. The upper’s pattern reflects the sweeping lines of the now iconic wing structure but also incorporates Mallet’s classic ‘M’ into the design language.
The sneaker’s off white nylon, monochromatic leather combinations and hunter green suede materials fuse together to form this dynamic silhouette. With the silver foil branding, lime grosgrain webbing and inspiration Mallet messaging on the tongue elevating the design even further.
The off white round sporty laces and black tread pull the sneaker together.
